Now that the vacations are over.... (I know 7 years ia a little too much to b called a vacation. But what to do travelling, reading, cooking and raising a brat took over my time. Not nessesarily in the same order.) I've decided to get back to my writing. Then the question is what to write??? Should it b about travelling or reading or cooking or about raising a brat ( better not to get started about this one!!)
For now travelling would b safe....
In these 7 years I travelled quite a bit but not as much as I would have liked to. Most of the trips we covered by road. Personally thoses are my favorite kind. There's a beauty in traveling by road. It's like u make your own rules you are free from the hassles of booking tickets or sticking to the schedules. More over u get to know the essence of a particular place .
Of all the places I visited I think Kashmir takes the crown. Now where to start describing about this breathtakingly beautiful state!? The snow peaked mountains, the rivers, the valleys or the kids innocence so pure. Everything is so serene and pure. The sun rises and the sun sets are to die for.
Though I travelled with my family... It was the best time I spent with myself. There was magic in the air. One would b happy to get lost in those valleys. I wouldn't b exaggerating if I said I've never seen so many shades of green in my life or that I didn't even know that so many shades even existed. Talking about shades and colors... During the sun rise or sun set, the different shades of gold and silver on the snow peaked mountains is a sight to behold!
I can really go on and on about this wonderful paradise but I know that all good things have to end. ( not nessesarily in our imaginations ;) . But Kashmir has to b in everyone's must-visit-before-i-die list.
And hence signing off on that happy note ;)

On one hand am surprised that you could come up with some thing as good as above considering how lazy you are and on the other hand am amazed with your narrative capabilities...Keep it up you never know one day you might come up with some short story (Considering your lazyness that itself will be great acheivment) .....
