Gratitute

Recently i read about gratitude in some book. That dragged my attention. There was one line perticlulary which grabbed my attention in it which says "Gratitude can turn chaos to Order". Then I started introspecting.....and i started co-relating this with my life and my 15 months old son. His day starts at 7:00 Am and the fist thing he does as soon as he wakes up is grab the first thing he can lay his tiny hands on!!! Even before reading this book i used to show my gratitude to God for giving me such a lovely child!! then after me trying to pull the first thing off from his hands he starts yellling and weeping and then it turns to screaming at that perticular moment my husband remembers that he is getting late to office and then with my screaming kid in my arms and an irritated husband to abide orders i start my day. Then my husband completley forgets about his office and tarts watching WWF as if he has all the time in this sweet world but my son doesnt forget abt the THING which we pulled from his hands so to divert him i give him some toys to play... he likes the idea so much that now he wants me to play with him...i do that for some time then he starts throwing the toys all over the place...i let him do it for some time then when i feel that i'm getting late for work my husbands memory comes back and he rushes for the shower comming in my way so i go back to tidy up the toys. As i'm at this task my little rasckal starts pulling of the clothes from the cupboard and scatters them all over the home... then i give up and transfer the duties to Mani my life saviour she then takes him out for a morning walk, before she returns we get readyfor work. Now he wants to come with us and starts crying, some how we manage to reach work . by the time i reach home in the evening the process of cleaning the scatterd toys, books and clothes continues till the time he falls asleep, (which will be around 12 or 1 in the midnight) that is when i show my gratitude to GOD!!!

So friends any suggetions for how Gratitude can turn chaos to order?
